How fast do you work your relationships?

Just wondering how quickly you move in a relationship, or how slow you prefer, when do you know you're ready for the next step?How fast do you work your relationships?
There is no set timeline. You move as quickly or slowly as you see fit and what's best for you. My suggestion is, it's better to be on the slower side than most more quickly.How fast do you work your relationships?
Usually when you are in a relationship, the pace you move in that relationship depends on how much you like or even love that person, Like if your body wants you to have sex with someone because of the physical attraction but you still have some doubt on whether or not what you are doing is right then you are moving too fast, your conscience is telling you that you're not ready. When you doubt what you are doing usually that means that some part of you knows that what you are doing is wrong. When you are really and Truly ready to make the ';NEXT step'; in your relationship you wont have any doubts.

GOOD LUCK!!!!

What are your opinions on interracial relationships?

My 18 year old sister may like this black gentleman my father is old school and doesn't think its right because society wont accept it i would like your views and facts or something to help my argument i think its fine. He is a good man but just grew up in a generation closed minded.What are your opinions on interracial relationships?
It should be noted society is more complex than you think, for it鈥檚 divided into many different parts. It isn鈥檛 鈥榮ociety鈥?that doesn鈥檛 believe dating interracial is 鈥榬ight,鈥?it鈥檚 the people around you. If people in your area believe interracial dating is wrong, they don鈥檛 speak for an entire society, but only themselves. In my area, no one would truly care if I had a boyfriend of another race, and if they did, it鈥檚 none of their business. As for interracial dating, it鈥檚 fine because we鈥檙e all human and if we love the person, we shouldn鈥檛 have a problem being with him or her. However, if people have personal problems, such as believing others would be against them for dating someone of a different race, they should do what鈥檚 better for them. If you ask me, I wouldn鈥檛 care.What are your opinions on interracial relationships?
sometimes it's hard to convince older people that interracial dating is ok.They are still set in the time where being with a black man or woman,or being gay was taboo.As long as he treats your sister right,you should explain the good points of this guy to your father.My personal opinion is this,love does not see any color,we are all God's children and a person should be judged on how they treat others and what they do in their life to make the world a better place.Not what skin color they are.I think interracial dating is fine,I don't see someone as black,white,red blue whatever,I see them as a human being.,maybe your father will come around after he gets to know this guy and see he is a good guy? good luck.
I don't think another person's relationship, inter-racial, homosexual, whatever, is any of my business as long as both parties are able to legally consent.

*shrug*

Society is more open minded than your father thinks, btw. The younger generations are, at least.
Yeah I know what you mean. My mom said she would rather me be gay than in an interracial relationship. I was like...';WHAT??'; And she's pretty open to new cultures and ideas. It's strange. A lot of people just dont think you should put your future kids through being a mixed race child in a less than open-minded society.

Personally,if she thinks she could love him, go for it. You dont have to tell your father unless they become really serious. And if she's really in love, then she shouldn't have a problem telling your father...
How old is he, 60?!? That's some old school think for real. Nothing can change these people's minds but time. Don't waste your time. What society does he live in? You said his generation is ';close minded';. If he's like that; nothing anyone can say or do will ever sway him. Agree to disagree.
l guess where your father is concerned,then old habits die hard.

But love has no boundaries....and if you sister loves someone from another race....then this is her life,her love for someone.

l truly believe you cannot tell someone...that they can't love a person...because of race or culture.
Tell him that if he doesn't want to lose his daughter he will at least give the guy a chance because she is going to date him no matter what and It will be better for him to approve because at least he will know where she is and with whom.
it's true...interracial marriages are more of a threat than gay marriages...both are pretty bad
To be honest, I don't mind interracial relationships.
Get him to watch the 1967 movie ';Guess Who's Coming for Dinner';.

I bet that would change his mind.
They exist.

Frankly I do not care. Long as they treat each other right.
true society doesn't think this should happen but it's all about what's in the heart.

Why do some people care in relationships and others do not?

What is it that makes some people care for others in a relationship, while others are just sort of unable to stay committed? Does it have to do with upbringing? Can people change with regards to this?Why do some people care in relationships and others do not?
I think it all has to do with your personality and past. Some may not trust very easily so it's hard to commit. Something may of happened to them in the past and they don't want to make the same mistake, so it ends up makeing messies, someone could also go too fast and trust too much, while the other one needs to go slow.Why do some people care in relationships and others do not?
It is all because of the upbringing they have got from their parents and the culture the follow. A little bit of credit goes to their friends and the situations where they may have felt the same way. May be in order to have no mess at all they r making life more HochPoch
We learn from our parents. My parents are very commited and have worked through all of their problems together. My ex girlfriends parents are divorced and just fight about everything...now she is my ex...guess who gave up on the relationship.

    What are your feelings about interracial relationships?

    Okay, so I have always been with white men, and every single time I have been treated like crap.

    I am seriously thinking about dating a black guy, because they all seem so sweet.

    What are your feelings about this sort of thing?What are your feelings about interracial relationships?
    Whatever works for you

    SteveCWhat are your feelings about interracial relationships?
    ';I am seriously thinking about dating a black guy, because they all seem so sweet.';

    They All seem so sweet? What a ridiculous generalization.

    It's cool if you want to date black guys. And you will probably find it easier to get them interested than white guys. But you should be honest with yourself as to why you are choosing to take that direction in life.
    Well, we are all human beings, regardless of the color of our skin. I am in an interracial marriage. I am African American, and my husband is Hispanic, and it's fine with me. Now, when we walk down the street, we have people looking at us like we are a speciment or something, but we don't care. We are in love and that's all that matters.
    I don't care about race, I just look for somebody that's nice and has a great personality. Date whoever you want, we're all human and we all deserve to be happy.

    Don't pay attention to anybody that tries to give you a hard time. It's none of there business what you do with your life.
    let me thank brookie for speaking for us white men. maybe this is the kinda crap from white people that she is referring to. i certainly have no problems with that and would date her just the same.
    I'm think interracial relationships are cool. I'm more attracted to white guys myself and my ex bf was Libyan. (middle-eastern). let's spread the word for more interracial relationships!
    Race may not be the issue at all. Look at the personality you're going for. If you're making bad decisions with white guys, you could end up selecting the same type of black man too.
    if 2 people love one another color doesn't matter. Unfortunately

    society isn't always accepting. Love is the key!
    They're okay sometimes.. some black men date non black women just because of their skin color. I don't like to see an attractive black man with an overweight white woman
    A interracial relationship created me.

    Then my white father left my black mother
    the more interracial relationships there are the faster we can get rid of racist white men. they hate it so i hope all you racist white people read this question and pull the trigger
    if God wanted us all the same; he would have created us all the same. different set of dogs. no ';race'; treats anybody differently. just have different values is all.
    i'm cool with it, kinda weird so i personally wouldnt be in one.

    damn 3 TDs but im Black
    the more the better!
    Nothing, I have nothing against it. If it who they love then it is no problem with me
    Tsk Tsk we have a long way to go.
    I'm cool with them.
    they're so cute
    im ok with it...if your a pretty girl u will get a lot of BS from whites.
    EW!! im not into the 'melting pot' craze. and in no hurry to be a race traitor. white men will NEVER want you once you go black. Blacks should be with Blacks. Whites should be with Whites. And wow just because you choose crappy guys doesnt mean you should jump ship.
    I think you are a nasty race traitor. I hope you know what you are doing because once you go black, NO white guys are going to want you back!!!!
    i am white man married to a filipina but white women should not date or marry black men.

    Why do people who are in relationships forgive cheaters?

    The question says it all.

    I've never been a fan of second chances or forgiving. I just move on and find better. This girl I know found text messages in her boyfriend's phone talking sexually with other girls, yet she still wanted to work things out and stayed with him.

    Feel free to go off into sory mode. I enjoy hearing details about this sort of thing.Why do people who are in relationships forgive cheaters?
    I have to agree with Nick, mostly because of my own experiences. Most people that cheat would do it again I suppose. In my own case, I was terrified at the idea of getting married (when I was young, nearly all my parents friends divorced, and some of the marriages I have seen during my life have left me with a deep loathing of the whole institution). It's no excuse, but I doubted whether I was really in love with my boyfriend. I broke up with him, he begged me to get back together. We did, and I spent a long time afterwards agonizing over my decisions. I cheated, and immediately felt so terrible that I was truthful with him. He did forgive me and some time afterwards we got married. It took me all that time to stop feeling scared and realize that I don't always make terrible decisions. Now I know how much in love with him I am, and this is the happiest I have ever been. I couldn't imagine hurting him like that ever again. It was selfish to cheat, but at the same time... some people cheat because they feel they have been forced into a situation they can't deal with, or can't easily extract themselves from. Sometimes it takes time and a lot of introspection to come to terms with how you feel about someone else. It's hard to change yourself though :-)Why do people who are in relationships forgive cheaters?
    Sorry, I don't have any story to go with it, but I do have an answer. If a couple is able to work out a solution or a way to get past cheating on eachother, then their relationship could become stronger. It is like overcoming an obstacle, yah know? Make any sence?
    well when ppl feel connected to sum1 they usually dont want to let them go so easily..but i dont think i wld forgive sumone cuz itz like this.

    u cheated on me.

    then you must not love me as much az u keep saying.

    but im not a person who cheatz, so i dont really knoe how they feel..
    As they say love is blind. Love is deaf. When one loves somebody, He cant see any flaws. He cant see anything bad.. And Though s/he sees anything,he puts the blame on the one whos flirting but not with his girl or her guy.
    I don't either 0 tolerance for cheaters.

    After someone cheats it's possible to forgive them but the relationship is never quite the same again.

    Is it possible that long distance relationships can work?

    I am a heterosexual male and I personally do not believe in long distance relationships. I would rather date someone within my own area code. Reason being that my former girlfriend moved to Florida, and I live in New York. We thought we could make our relationship work but in the end we had to break if off because we lived so far apart.Is it possible that long distance relationships can work?
    It's hard enough to make local relationships work, but having miles, States, and sometimes even an ocean between you makes it even more difficult. However, successful long distance relationships can and do exist. Here's how to give yours every chance to survive and thrive.

    Ask the important questions at the onset, to make sure you are both clear on the parameters of the relationship. Setting parameters such as naming your relationship (dating, seeing each other, boyfriend/girlfriend, engaged)as well defining exclusive(limited to one person,) non exclusive. These can be difficult and awkward questions to ask, but will save you great heartache and misunderstanding down the line. Example: ';Are you open to the possibility of relocating if the relationship should it become more serious?'; or ';What are you looking to get out of the relationship?';. Stating your end goal or ideas will allow each person to maintain what they need.

    Do things together. Defy the distance. As a long distance couple, it's important to do other things together besides the usual phone call. In a long distance relationship, interaction over the phone can become dull in the long run. Incorporating other forms of interaction are important. Just think... people in short-distance relationships do not spend the majority of their time talking, but rather doing things with each other. Try to replicate this by finding things to do together such as watching a TV show or movie simultaneously.

    Communicate in some way every day, more than once if possible. Since you won't be seeing each other, it's important to establish and maintain an emotional connection. These don't always have to be long, in-depth conversations. Tell each other about your little triumphs and tragedies. Ask for advice. Use an instant messenger program or VoIP for real-time chat, or web cams for that visual connection. E-mail is great so make sure you use it, especially if long-distance phone calls put a strain on your budget. Remember that e-mail and even instant messengers can increase the possibility of misunderstandings. Write love letters. Send small gifts or flowers for no reason. In this case, quantity is as important as quality. You may discover an advantage over others whose partner is close at hand - you don't take communication for granted!

    Take advantage of the benefits a long distance relationship offers: more time with friends and/or family, no arguments over toothpaste caps, the pleasure of seeing your sweetheart again after a long absence, time to mull your options (rather than snapping at your partner impulsively) before you respond to that email s/he wrote that seemed so rude the first time you read it, etc. Most important, being far apart gives you a chance to maintain your individuality - something that can get lost in the shuffle when couples spend all their free time together.

    Pursue common interests, even if it means pursuing them apart. If there's a movie you're both interested in seeing, watch it individually and then call each other afterward and talk about it. Read a certain book at the same time. Stargaze while you're on the phone. Set your watches to go off at the same time every day, and synchronize your alarm with that of your partner. Make it a point to think of each other when your watch goes off, and revel in the fact that he or she is thinking about you, too. Find creative ways to bond.

    Avoid the temptation to be controlling. People have free will and no one can or should control another person. As long as you are both interested in being in the relationship, you will stick with it and distance will not make a difference. As soon as one of you decides the other is not a good match - or someone else is a better match - your relationship ends, whether you live 3000 miles apart, two streets over, or share the same bed with your wedding picture on the wall. You are going to have to trust each other completely if this relationship is going to work.

    Talk about your future together. Assuming that ultimately you'd want to live together, discussing how you're going to get to that point will help you prove to each other that the relationship is going somewhere and that your efforts and frustrations are not in vain.

    Know when to say good-bye. While this is tough in any relationship, this can be especially hard over long distances. When communication becomes one-sided or sparse for too long and for no apparent reason, when arguments (yes, you'll have them) become too frequent, when the whole thing just seems like more trouble than it's worth, it's time to re-evaluate the relationship. You have to remember that for a healthy relationship, no matter how far or close, you must be willing to let go.

    Remember: things will get better with time, and even the relationship will become better. Have hope.

    Visit often Try to make the time to visit each other as often as possible or as often as your budget permits you to. A relationship cannot thrive if thIs it possible that long distance relationships can work?
    It is possible for them to work. However, I don't think any long-distance relationship can be maintained for years on end. If you're going to make a long-distance relationship work, then you either need to visit one another, or eventually move in together within a year or so, if possible.
    I am in a long distance relationship. We've been together for almost a year and a half. We met on Myspace and I'm from Georgia, He's from New Jersey. It is very hard, but we love each other and work hard at it every single day. We see each other on webcam and are lucky enough to be able to talk on the phone whenever we want. We have only been in person together for a total of a month over the past year and a half and I definitely hate not getting to hold his hand and kiss him, but he's worth waiting for. They do work if you work hard enough and try and you are right for each other. He will be moving here in September of this year and we're only gonna get to be together in person one more time before then, so we still have a little while longer before we're together all the time...but like I said it's worth it %26lt;3
    Well your first problem is that you assume that just because it didn't work with one relationship, it won't work with any. If you're not going to do long distance relationships, don't ';not'; do it based off of one relationship that didn't work. That's like saying since your ex cheated, all girls must cheat.

    I've been in a long distance relationship for the last 2 years. Easy? Far from it. Is he worth it? Always has been. It's not for every one or every relationship.
    They can work but both people have to MAKE it work. Most long distance relationships don't last because one of the people, or both, want to be with that person everyday and cannot stand the fact that they can't. So in order to be in a long distance relationship, you have to compromise with a lot of stuff and truly care for that person.
    I've been in a long distance relationship before and it did not work. It was more stress than it's worth. If it is a temporary arrangement then it may be ok but if you don't have any close future plans to move to the same city then I'd suggest to everyone to not commit to anything exclusive.
    long distance relationships mostly don't work if ur young and have limited funds. however as u get older and have lots of money they can work. trust and commitment must be very high. both must be secure in themselves an believe that at some point they will be together. and live happily ever after. good luck
    Relationships require a lot of effort from but sides to work and long distance relationships can work but they a re very hard to maintain. You have already been in a long distance relationship so you know what its like.
    There is a slim chance of survival for this kind of relationship. I think that due to separation a lot of people develop some coping up mechanism looking for other people's company. Eventually, over time, absence makes the heart forget.
    They can work, especially if you know you will be back together again (otherwise, what's the point)

    I was with my fiance for 8 months while he was stationed in CA and I was in NC. We got married and everything worked out fine.
    I have a good friend in school that is trying to make the long distance thing work. They haven't seen each other for months. It all depends on your relationship, and if you feel that she is worth it (and she the same).
    Good idea to have a close relationship closer to home. You need to be nurtured and be able to reach out and touch someone. The human touch and companionship are very important.
    Many people think that long distance relatioship may be stupid, I really don't think that way, it all depends on the commitment and the loyalty ya have for one another.
    The relationship that you previously had did not work because you did not love each other enough. Long distance relationships can work, it just takes a person who cares more about sex to do it. You probably called it quits because you knew you couldn't dip inside her for awhile. I know that if I really loved someone enough, I would make it work.
    Long distance relationships can work but at some stage you need to get together to be together forever. There are many happily married couples that started their relationship over a long distance.

    It's not easy.
    It'll work if the long distance thing is not for a long period of time. More than a year of being far apart is way way too long for me.
    yeh sure but it depends how far apart and how deep your relationship is... if u just started i doubt it but if is a long 1 well yep i guess
    It happened to me, it was good for a while; both sacrificed a lot, and at the end it didn鈥檛 work.
    Yes, I believe it is possible.
    It can work out for if either u or her plan to move in together, if not then forget it cus its just a waste of ur time.
    Depends cause distance is just a test on how far love can travel.. if the loves strong then yeah but if it isnt then no
    Never

    They suck
    hell no ..

    How do I find chemistry in relationships and dating when I'm so different from most of the people where I live?

    I've dated a lot of girls, but just haven't felt real chemistry with many of them. I don't really want to wait until collage, I'm only a sophomore in high school. Where/ how can I find girls like me?How do I find chemistry in relationships and dating when I'm so different from most of the people where I live?
    I suppose you could try joining classes/clubs you're interested in and hope that someone with the same interests might have similar chemistry. Or of course you could try to find people online from your area since checking whether you could possibly click together online is easier.

    How to add deeper meaning to relationships?

    I make friends, we have friends and when it stops having fun.

    Our friendship and contact looses its power.

    My question is how can we have good friends? Not just those with whom you roam around with and forget but good friends who are your friends for life.How to add deeper meaning to relationships?
    Usually this just happens. Sorry that I can't explain how, but you shouldn't worry about it. Talking about serious things can help though.How to add deeper meaning to relationships?
    I know what you mean. Sometimes it's like, ';What do I really have in common with these people?'; or, ';Can we talk about something other than the weather and our jobs?';

    There are two things that I think really help.

    One, you have to do the things that make you hop. Do the things that get you so excited animated and activated that you start to ';preach'; when someone asks about them. This makes you a more interesting person, but it also helps weed out the superficial relationships. A good friend will be the one who couldn't care less about what excites you but listens anyway, gets excited about what excites you, and never ever mocks you for it.

    Second, once you've weeded out some of the dandelion fluff, you have to tell others the things that you don't like about yourself. That makes them see you as a real person, and they feel like they can open up to you and be a real person too.

    And once you're down to the real people involved in a relationship, then you can go on to the real relationship.
    hi, well you can't prevent people from getting to know you,its not something you can really control.Many people come into our lives almost everyday,it is upto us to identify that special thing in them which determines whether they'll be good friends or not.

    Try to see you two some 20 years later,will he always be there for you,i.e,in your times of need?Good friends will stick by your side through thick and thin and are more special than others.The things you do with them,you're not likely to 'forget' :)

    If you're friend with someone it means that there's an aspect in him that you appreciate and if you want lasting relationships,you'll have to keep your friends close to you.You can't choose who comes into your life but you can surely choose your good friends.Let them know how much they mean to you everyday.

    %26lt;3
    well ever heard this a friend is someone who will bail you from the police station but a true friend will be sat next to you saying we messed up this time but this **** was fun,,you cant just find true friends they just turn up from time to time you will know wen you have a good friend because its that one person or 2 or even 3 that you can have converations with that you cant with anyone else just be careful not to have backstabbers ...
    Be caring, considerate, listen to your friend and be sincere, if something goes wrong be truthful or if it is bad be there for them-- it is that simple!

  • Question for those who had bad relationships with their moms. How did that affect your future?

    I heard that ppl who had bad relationships with their mothers have problem in the future. Is this true for u? Please explain. Thanks.Question for those who had bad relationships with their moms. How did that affect your future?
    all my life i have had problems with my mom

    i came home from college and she gave me a pregnancy test

    she never trusted me and always accused me of stuff i never did

    now i just forgave her. i try to have a relationship with her since my dad died last july. but i live a nice life with my husband. i really dont have much relationships with other females and i want to be a better mom that how my mom treated meQuestion for those who had bad relationships with their moms. How did that affect your future?
    I dont know b/c i have a really good relationship with my mother, but I have a lot of friends that have been in bad relationships with their moms and when they need the support a mom can only give them, they really just don't know where else to look. I look at them and their confused and don't know who to trust. This makes them grow up with the missing love only a mom can give and really their lives just aren't as together.
    I had one of these relationships with my mom growing up but it did not effect anything in my life since then except for one thing. I should have recognized it for what it really is...indifference! I could have been a little bit closer to her and not labeled it as a ';bad relationship';. Being her daughter does not mean that I have to think,act or share all the same opinions that she has. But, love means in spite of all these things. In short...the in differences.
    hi no that's not true me and my mother had a bad relationship when i was younger but after i grew up we were really close my mother went to a nursing home and i went to school and got my cna and went into nurseing so i could take care of her she passed away 7yrs ago at the age of 58 and we were really close than i miss her so much but i proved my love to her all the way til the end i now have three grown children and 5 grandbabies and we have a good relationship life is really what you make it honey so take a deep breathe and take it day by day good luck to you
    I've had problems with my now estranged father all my life.

    I find it so hard to trust men. When a man is being nice to me, I get suspicious because it is so foreign to me. I push people away who get too close. To be honest, I pick the worst possible men every time. I don't know how to break that cycle.

    It has affected me more than I like to admit. I'm still trying to deal with how a healthy relationship works. You just have to take it one day at a time.
    well for me yes because I grew up with an abusive father and a gay mother. It has really affected my life because I really with she could have been there for me as a shoulder to cry on. And it probably will affect my future as I get older because I would never leave. My child like she left me. We still talk but it's just sorta diffrent

    hi, well you can't prevent people from getting to know you,its not something you can really control.Many people come into our lives almost everyday,it is upto us to identify that special thing in them which determines whether they'll be good friends or not.

    What is the point of entity relationships?

    I can't get my head around this. I understand that using primary keys they link together tables within Access but what are the benefits of this?

    I wonder because I am creating a system where I want the data values from one table to be shown in another table.. is this the purpose of it?What is the point of entity relationships?
    The primary reason is to reduce data duplication.

    Imagine a product database where someone had to fill in the product name every time a sale was registered.

    A foreign key allows the name to be stored once in a table and a key is used to refer to the product name.

    The process of removing the duplicates is called normalisation and wikipedia has a good page here:

    How can I find and build relationships with Real Estate Investors?

    I am a beginner in the real estate field in Long Island, NY. At my beginner level I am starting out by wholesaling. I am a ';deal finder';, my problem is that I have no problem finding the deals but I am having trouble finding the investors to buy the deals. Any suggestions?How can I find and build relationships with Real Estate Investors?
    BE the investor. Skip the middleman, even if you ARE the middleman.

    If you have a knack for finding deals with large profit margins, I can help.

    I can provide financing for 100% of the purchase price, 100% of the rehab costs, and the closing costs. You'll need a couple hundred dollars out of pocket for appraisal and inspection.

    If the margins allow, go ahead and hire a contractor to do the work. Try the next ';sure thing'; you get and go from there.

    You should give me a call. My contact info is at:

    1. scorpio sun, we were too different, he wanted me to do as he says, plus i am sure he cheated, long distance relationship

    2. piesces sun, two different personalities, the lust couldnt get more far, long distance relaitonship

    3. libra sun, the best of the best, it was all good but i couldnt accept all his friends, which were mostly girls, also long distance relationship, that ruined all, if we were close we would get through all porblems

    yeah i am kind into long distance relationships.. start to think thats my fate.. but that is a plus since i m sag and freedom loving

    ~~~What signs have been your serious relationships and how have they ended?
    Only been on one serious relationship so far.
    I am a Sun Leo/Moon Pisces/Venus Cancer/Mars Taurus and Sagittarius Rising
    My ex is a Virgo Sun,we're on long distance relationship for a year and the reason why we broke up is that we live in two different countries,very far from each other(We both realize that we both can't stand this type of relationship for long)..but we remain friends.We trust each other more than ever despite that we don't talk as much,and sometimes i can't help but thinking that we are still going to be together if our relationship is not a distance relationship one(we do have great chemistry i believe).
    im a taurus with a moon in virgo and venus in gemini
    1. cancer sun: ended bad he cheated on me for 90 percent of the relationship. he's been trying to come bk every since i dumped him that was in 06
    2. sag sun: ended bad we were just to different
    3:cancer sun: we just stop talking. he had the habit of popping in and out of my life when convenient for him
    4: aquarius sun: he is the love of my life
    I haven't had a lot of serious relationships. My rising sign is Taurus, Sun sign Aquarius, and Venus sign Pisces.
    1. Pisces, I was pretty young but I had loved him from first sight. He is still one of my ';friends';.
    2.Aries, he was just so boring and strange.
    3.Aquarius-******** SOB ever, we dated for a week and he cheated on me.
    4. Libra (my current relationship and only serious one)- we have been dating for 2 years and 4 months tomorrow. I love him so much. I'm only 16 and found my true love %26lt;3 :]
    sagittarius sun: we were together for almost six years then we drifted apart slowly
    aquarius sun: we were together for a few months but then i broke up with him
    gemini sun: we were together twice but i dumped him the first time and i took the dumping the second time
    the others were blow off
    now i'm with this guy we are four days three years apart
    1. virgo - we kept having fights. we really didn't get each other. we had issues with his ex. i couldn't stand it. he eventually got sick of me.
    2. leo/ aquarius moon - things were perfect. he was everything i wanted in a man, minus the cheating. when i confronted him, he tried to manipulate me... it didn't work. i dumped him.
    Taurus -- i got bored after 5 years but we still talk
    Taurus -- i got bored but we still talk again lol
    Pices---- we hate eachother!! always argued
    Scorpio-- we are married so happy
    which is random as i dont normally like scorpion men
    I am a Taurus/Pig
    My most serious relationships were:
    Scorpio/Dog - two years engaged. I didn't know he had been sleeping with my best friend since the night he proposed to me.
    Pisces/Boar - 1 1/2 yrs engaged. Things were wonderful, but he was a little overly sexist one day at a concert towards the performs and I was so pissed that I wanted to leave. In the parking lot he started telling me that I was a waste of time, effort and money. I never forgave him for that and he did try calling me back to see why I never called him after a few days and then after a week. I just laughed at him, he got made, we both just moved on in different directions.
    Leo/Boar - 1 1/2 yrs. I gave him everything he wanted and more, but he wanted to sleep with other women too and still be with me. For that reason, he always broke up with me before sleeping with another woman and then begged for my forgiveness later to come back. I endured it for about a year before I went so numb that I didn't care anymore, but then again I never wanted sex anymore either. It was killing him to see how lifeless I became and then one day I just left him and ripped him a new one verbally.
    Cancer/Tiger - 10 months. He always accused me of cheating on him and I never understood why. I gave up my social life to please him, but one day a ';friend'; of his wrote to me telling me that he was cheating on me that he groped her and etc, then months later I found a condom wrapper on the floor next to his bed (we never used condoms), and the last draw was finding him an 7 different dating sites that he was always logging into, and finding 2 new condoms (condoms are sold in a minium of 3 per pack - so where was the third? He never answered).
    I have learned that boars cannot be with boars. and that 2 leaders cannot be with each other either. Neither can 2 people with venus in Gemini. Also Taurus and Scorpio are opposites - bad idea.
    well, if you want to know what love is, then turn you Holy Bible to 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
    if you don't have one, then here it is:
    Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
    Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
    How many gay men have steretypical relationships with their parents?
    I am gay and so many of my gay friends have the stereotypical gay relationship with their parents. They are very close to their mother and they don't have a relationship with their father. In my case, it is the opposite. I am close with my dad and luke warm with my mom. There were no issues about me being gay with either parent, it's just that I am much closer to my dad. My gay friends seem so surprised that I am not close to my mom. Why?How many gay men have steretypical relationships with their parents?
    My family relationships are like yours. I get along better with my dad than my mom. I came out when I was 16 and my dad was much more cool about it than my mom. I don't know why the dynamics are as they are in your family but I know why they are as they are in mine. My dad grew up in New York City. He's seen and heard everything so nothing phases him. My mom lived a sheltered life in the country %26amp; didn't know a single openly gay person until her late twenties. Additionally, I have a straight brother who couldn't be more supportive. He's even tried setting me up a few times.
    As far as your friends' reactions, I definitely can relate to those. I think the media has a lot to do with this stereotype of the supportive mom, the distant/rejecting dad, the anti-gay bull of a brother, etc...I resent those stereotypes.How many gay men have steretypical relationships with their parents?
    yeah when I was very young my parents got divorced.?I have always been closer with my mom cause my father has always favorrr my brother and ever cared much about me. so yeaaa
    Report Abuse
    i have no relationship with my father for the following reason; when growing up (when he was still married to my mom) he didn't pay attention to me and couldn't have cared less and now that he wants to be part of my life i shut him out of my life and tell him it's too late.
    i am close to my mom because she was there for me and always cared.
    Yeah, I'm cool with my mother cuz she's the only one that's ever been there. My dad was never around to begin with. He's had plenty of chances and opportunity to, however, he just never really cared i guess. So who cares what he thinks. And I'm bi by the way. And when I told my mother, she didn't care.
    I have a closer relationship with my mom than my dad, but it's not because I'm gay, it's because she's friendlier and more nurturing.
    Lately, though, they both get on my nerves equally.
    My gay brother has that stereotypical relationship... sort of. He's not super close to mom, but he's cut off his relationship with his father.
    My parents are dead. Thank you for reminding me of that fact. You're lucky to have parents at all.
    IDK. I used to be closer to my Mom than my Dad until they found out I was gay. I had to come out to my Mom TWICE because she TOTALLY blanked out the first 3-hour conversation we had about it. While I was never really close with my Dad, he tries (as best as he can) to address it and discuss things with me, though he has to be careful about it. If Mom ever got the inkling that he accepts, let alone APPROVES of my lifestyle there would be hell to pay. He has to live with her so he has to choose his battles carefully. When Mom isn't within earshot, we'll talk about it but when she hovers close by, the conversation becomes very innocuous and mundane.
    I've resigned myself to the fact that Mom will probably never come around which I find kind of sad. She still maintains a mother/son relationship with me (I'm 45) and can't seem to move BEYOND that to two ADULTS relating to one another. She's always going on about how I have to ';grow up'; and ';do adult'; things and ';take adult responsibility.'; I'm tired of it and as a result have not been home to visit in over two years. I know that I should be the bigger person and ';honor thy Father and thy Mother'; and all that stuff but what about MY spirit requiring validation and acceptance? That goes both ways.
  • What fraction of people are in relationships compared with those single?
    When I go on facebook, most of the profiles I see are in relationships. Would this be true in the ';real'; world?What fraction of people are in relationships compared with those single?
    Probably. The older you get the more and more people are dating or married. I think that the actual numbers are about 60% single and 40% dating though. A lot of people on those websites can just be lazy and not change them when they break up or just put that up there so people know that at least one other person can put up with them.What fraction of people are in relationships compared with those single?
    well everyone that i know as friends are all married or are in a relationship.im the one who is single and i have a lot of friends.i would say 90% are in a relationship and the rest are single,looking for a relationship.
    132/4568ths
    im sorta glad im single cuz i can spend my time with my guitar
    What are your thoughts on interracial relationships?
    My bf is black and I am white.
    I am just wondering what you thought about relationships with 2 different races.
    Thanks.What are your thoughts on interracial relationships?
    I am Caucasian and my wife is Indian. You love who you love. If it's an interracial relationship, it's an interracial relationship. It's just like any other relationship, and no different from two whites loving each other, two blacks loving each other, two Hispanics, or two Asians, or two Dominicans loving each other.What are your thoughts on interracial relationships?
    I am totallly open about it, and I think a lot of people are. and if anybody reading this isn't, then please broaden your horizons! It is great that interracial relationships are occuring, and if I saw an interracial couple walking down the high street I wouldn't bat an eyelid.
    It's natural, we're all human :)
    my Dad is half black half Cuban...my mom is half black and half white...and my kids are half white...and I would consider myself a black female and I date white guys...its not the least bit unacceptable to me...I don't care what color you are...its all about a personality to me...and if you have it I would consider dating you...if I wasn't already taken
    I'm a fully white aussie and i dated a darkest black african male... for a year too... we got alot of weird looks from people but i didn't care!
    We were happy and that's all there was to it... we didn't even break up on bad terms, his mum fell ill and he had to fly back to her...
    Don't let the looks and/or people tell you your relationship is wrong!
    There's nothing wrong with it
    If people have a problem with it, that's their racial streak in them that they need to get rid of, this world is horrible enough with all the racism that goes around, being racist about interracial couples is just going too far.
    My boyfriend is half-black and I am white (yeah, the thumbs down fairies are gonna get me!). I honestly don't see an issue in it at all. As an answerer above said, we are all equal and equal to date who we want no matter the colour, gender etc. That's what I believe :)
    I do not see the issue at all! It is terrible that someone would think it wrong or odd or even different.
    if your happy and he is happy who am i to say you too dont match?
    I am appalled at the opinions so far!!! Why on earth would being a different color matter!?!?!?
    I personal do not see a problem in it myself. If we are all equal, That means we are all equal to date who we want, no matter what race, color or background they or you are. The Emancipation Proclamation so states that by the way in so many words.
    Nothing wrong with it...
    love is love, no matter what color, sex, appearance..
    :)
    ADD: wow, you people suck tonight! i was just giving my opinion, no need to go all ';thumbs down crazy'' on me! geez
    My mom is white and my dad is black. And my boyfriend's white.
    I love interracial relationships. Maybe I'm a bit biased lol.
    I grow up in a family with interracial relationships, but it's hardly very different then the same race.
    I think it is the person's choice. I personally wouldn't do it but people can do what they want.
    I am 1/2 Scotch, 1/2 Irish, my late husband was 1/2 Black African and 1/2 Jamaican...we married within our own race...the HUMAN race.
    i'm really open about it.
    i don't think there's any thing wrong with it my moms white and my dads half white and half black
    They're just people...
    The colour of ones skin truly doesn't matter to me.
    =]
    my cousin is white and she married a black man and they live happily and have 2 kids
    there is nothing wrong with it
    Love is love no matter what the race, gender or any other looks. I see nothing wrong with it :).
    This is the saying i use to express my opion on this topic
    ';Love is color blind';
    My boyfriend is mexican and I'm white.
    Our baby is a vanilla bean = ]
    its really cute! i have no problem with it, i love black guys actually!
    Wait......Why don't don't black girls date white guys? You never see this for some reason. Could it be that it wouldn't be accepted by their own family? Sorry its very true. I would more than be happy to date Black women. Its not acceptable in there eyes! So, why should I respect it the other way around?
    I don't care
    You're probably trailer trash or something
    The people who downvoted me are white people who only like sell outs.
    i think interracil relationships are better than regular ones becuz they spice of certain aspects of the partners live
    not good. .
    It's tough enough being one color or race without complicating it with a mix.
    i don't think it looks good if your white and hes black !!!
    but if you like him than i guess its okay !!!
    What is your take on interracial relationships?
    I kind of think it would just be better to stick with your own race and avoid the hassles of society seeing two people of different races together in a commited relationship but what do you think?What is your take on interracial relationships?
    you cant help who you love. i came from one myself and i must say we are beautiful mixed kids! but seriously, love who you do and dont exclude based on race. its not easy depending on what kind of people you are around but would you really let some judgemental jerk keep you from happiness? i also married someone of a different rce/culture than i was used to with either of my ethnicities and its been hard coming from two different worlds but the love we share has made it worth it to figure it out.
    it also broadens your horizons, learning different language maybe.. or foods and customs. it can be quite exciting.What is your take on interracial relationships?
    Interracial relationships have come a LONG way in this country. It's very common to see interracial couples and interracial families in many parts of the country. If the couple is educated and mature (at least in their mid-20's), their commitment to each other is often stronger because of the obstacles they have to overcome to make things work.
    Personally, I think that interracial relationships are great! Why does it matter what society thinks? Are we not people? We have come along way and our ideas have changed. We're able to vote, have a lot more freedoms, why not interracial relationships? How different is that from anything else we have achieved. I mean, we are all people looking for companionship and if we happen to find it through interracial dating, so be it. If you love them, why does it matter?
    You would stick to your own race because of what other people think? Wow, I think people with that kind of thinking allow people they don't even know to hold too much power over their lives.
    It shouldn't matter what other people think. Interracial couples haven't come this far because they were concerned with what everyone else thought.
    Heh. Society has some pretty major issues with my relationships anyway, so it wouldn't hurt anymore for me to date someone of a difference race.
    Besides, it's really nobody else's business who people date.
    i live in a really liberal area so i see interracial relationships all the time and have never ever seen anyone react badly- loads of people at my school and college were dating interracially. i dont see the problem? plus i think black guys are hot.
    If a person is lucky enough to find another that respects and loves them and adds joy to their life then it shouldn't matter if their black, white, purple, gay, straight, whatever.
    Whatever floats your boat... I still think it's up to the people in question, though.
    Nothing wrong with it.
    All for them XD
    How much is our perception of relationships influenced by the media?
    Without tv, movies, modern music, ect how much differently would we view people in general. How much is your point of view tainted or directed by the presuppositions and stereotypes from the media; those gained without any real experience. And how is your reaction to experiences influenced by advise gained from people whom you do not know and who dont know you personally i.e. media personalities.How much is our perception of relationships influenced by the media?
    The media definitely influences how people view relationships. It can be for the better but really I think a lot of the time it's been for the worst. For example, in tv shows the dads are often shown as stupid and unaware and that is playing out in society, but the father is supposed to be the head of the home, supportive, and loving. I'm not saying it's all bad, but some is.
    How much do you compromise in relationships?
    I can not decide how much you compromise on your ideals when meeting someone. I am presuming that one day you meet someone and you like them so much that you will compromise whatever you need to, to stay with them. Or is it that you want someone so much that you start to compromise your ideals?How much do you compromise in relationships?
    It depends on if you are the man or woman.
    The reason is, most men believe it or not, understand compromise. We know where happy comes from.
    Women on the other hand, ALWAYS want it their way. There is no getting around it, and they will make you miserable to the point of being suicidal, and are unwilling to give an inch, because they know that you know they can do better.
    It's very important to have compromise, but if you are a woman, you will not understand this and write it off as a stupid answer.
    Hope this helps.How much do you compromise in relationships?
    I think the longer you are with them the more you compromise up until the point where everything you guys do is what you guys do.
    It's really called growing with someone. I would only consider a compromise when it comes to the point where you make wedding plans and have children.
    You should choose the person who is unique but someone you can grow with, you can easily tell in the first few dates if it's possible.
    If you have to compromise all the time then the relationship isn't a compatible one. You will meet someone one day and everything should be ideal so you will just do what comes naturally and your partner will love you for it.
    Just to add that the longer that you are together you learn to give and take a lot.
    Well...when you are thinking that you compromise in a relationship...there is a problem....I think that when you are in love you compromise without thinking .....when the love is gone....you start thinking about how much you really did for the other person . But I don't know if there is a right answer for your question .....I mean...I can't tell you if you should compromise 25% or 99% ...you only can tell how much you want to compromise ....depending on how much you love that person .
    I believe when you find the one, you don't compromise. You just find ways to make things work out and if you are meant to be together things just do work out.
    I think the little things that make us so different form each other can actually complete one another when we find the right one.
    Taking two individuals and combining them living under one roof, one must compromise daily. A relationship depends on compromise. Compromising in a relationship is never ending, when compromise ends their will be an end to the relationship that soon follows.
    Compromise is a great relationship tool. I dont believe in compromising to the point that you loose yourself and you keep thinking ';omg I always swore I wouldnt do that'; but if you can find some type of middle ground ppl usually end up happy.
    I think it depends on the person. If you're 100% in love and besotted with them then i think you are willing to do anything to keep them. But on the other hand it depends on how strong your morals are in the first place.
    no one should compramise for a relationship...
    one should compramisee...if u r in love...
    love can be u r spouse / u r gf / brother/sister/mom /dad / frnd...etc
    compramising for a relationship...is like bribing...or...expecting some favour in return
    Alot! You cant always agree on everything and so therefore it should be equal.. if theres ever anything you dont agree on you both compromise. people demanding in a relationship and always wanting their own way cause breakups!
    50% anymore and you become a doormat
    I dont compromise
    Not one bit. I've been down that road. I'm running things or he hits the road.
    50/50
    it has to be give and take in any kind of relationship.
    anything less and one of the partners is being selfish.
    Life
    Compromise is a great relationship tool. I dont believe in compromising to the point that you loose yourself and you keep thinking ';omg I always swore I wouldnt do that'; but if you can find some type of middle ground ppl usually end up happy.
    I think it depends on the person. If you're 100% in love and besotted with them then i think you are willing to do anything to keep them. But on the other hand it depends on how strong your morals are in the first place.
    no one should compramise for a relationship...
    one should compramisee...if u r in love...
    love can be u r spouse / u r gf / brother/sister/mom /dad / frnd...etc
    compramising for a relationship...is like bribing...or...expecting some favour in return
    Alot! You cant always agree on everything and so therefore it should be equal.. if theres ever anything you dont agree on you both compromise. people demanding in a relationship and always wanting their own way cause breakups!
    50% anymore and you become a doormat
    I dont compromise
    Not one bit. I've been down that road. I'm running things or he hits the road.
    50/50
    it has to be give and take in any kind of relationship.
    anything less and one of the partners is being selfish.
    Put simply, How does a outdoor house cat think of other animals: Preferably Squirrels, Rabbits, Chipmunks, Raccoons, Bobcats, Foxes, and coyotes. Oh and other cats.Can you please list the interspecific relationships between house cats and some other animals?
    Squirrels, chipmunks, and rabbits are prey items to cats. Raccoons and foxes are competitors, and bobcats and coyotes are predators of cats.
    How does the use of pornographic materials affect an individuals day to day intimate relationships?
    Need personal experience and opinions on how it affects relationships involving friends, spouses, and/or children and will be used only for a research paper for school that only myself and my instructor will have access to. Your answers would help me out to finish up with the assignment and definately be greatly appreciated. Thanks!How does the use of pornographic materials affect an individuals day to day intimate relationships?
    Basically porn lessens the importance of intimacy in a relationship, and sometimes makes a relationship void of any intimacy at all.
    I think porn is very harmful to people, whether they realize it or not. Why so many wives on here accept it as normal male behavior is beyond me. What they don't realize, is that their men are watching it because in some way the men aren't fulfilled in their own relationship.
    A lot of people will tell you that porn can help to enhance the sexual aspect of a relationship, which is true if used occasionally. But what a lot of people don't realize is that over time, porn can actually turn men off of the real thing. This is because the more someone watches, the more extreme the porn becomes as they get bored with whatever type they were into before. So in order to fulfill the sexual desires these men now have, they need porn to get this satisfaction, because homestly most women aren't willing to go to the extremes that they now need. And, one last thing. Some of the people here need to realize how easily addictive it can be. When aroused, your brain lets of certain chemicals, which are very similar to the effects a drug can give you. You become addicted to that.How does the use of pornographic materials affect an individuals day to day intimate relationships?
    While I'm sure your teacher's liberal agenda is to bash pornography, it does not affect my relationships. It is a pastime, a form of mild entertainment. I do not look at porn with my friends, I do not use porn to replace a sexual relationship with my wife, and I shield my children from all porn. It has no effect at all. I have seen many thousands of pornographic images, and hundreds of pornographic movies over my lifetime. But I am in a solid, stable marriage to a wife of 22 years, I have two great children ages 11 and 16, and I have a couple of very close friends and some acquaintances. Porn doesn't affect my life any more than watching baseball.
    I think if it's used as an enhancement for your intimate relationships rather than a substitute for the real thing it can be healthy and fun. And it can definitely spice things up. It also keeps my poor husband from going crazy, as I am on bed rest for the remainder of my pregnancy and am not allowed to have sex.
    On the flip side, one of my husband's friends is addicted to porn. He's still a virgin at 27 because he's afraid the real thing won't live up to what he sees in porn (his words). He's also scared to death of talking to women, so maybe it's something he hides behind.
    Not of personal experience but apparently the use of such materials become addictive and by survey on the Y many women complain as they become worthless sexually speaking. Yes! It does affect the relationship. The same may be said about couples enjoying a threesome session. It ruins the marital relationship.
    we have used it together and if we both have aggreed on it I don't get upset or jealous. We have been togther almost 30 years. However, if he looks at it and I didn't really want to with him or he is addicted to it behind my back I feel it destroys our relationship. It leads to so many other things and I feel it can be a form of cheating,degrading and be somewhat abussive. As a lady ages she needs her spouse to look at her with love. He needs to love her and her worn out body that scrubbed,cooked,nursed the babies,etc. Somehow men feel they can be fat and ugly but their wife better not be. They think it's ok to steer at babes walking by,look at porn to get excited even if not aggreed on etc. Then everywhere they go throughout the day they are hitting on younger,thinner beautys and if they had money they would dump their spouse and go for it. Some want their cake and eat it too. They want sex on the side with the beauty and use their wife like a slave at home and the only sex she gets to see is surely for his pleasure and it isn't making love to her. Then both feel cheated and end up either cheating and or getting a divorce. Porn is addictive and takes away from family values and relationships.
    It will undermine the personal relationship. The need for porn will grow, as the need for one-on-one sex is diminished. More vulgar porn will be needed to get the same initial response, therefore more time is spent with porn and less with SO; the relationship withers due to lack of intimacy.
    Well, on the days we feel like putting some on, it usually results in us having intercourse, though honestly we do that without it so I can't really say it has any affect other than a little visual stimulation here and there.
    If it ever affected relationships with children then I think the problem goes much deeper than watching porn. *shudder*
    My husband watches porn and it used to really bother me but he does get some really good ideas from some of it and it was pointed out that I love adult romance novels and some of them get pretty steamy. As long as he respects that I won't do some of that stuff I plan on leaving him alone. On the other hand, I feel like we are usually having ';sex'; rather than making love. And I need to feel the emotional part of just having him run his hands up and down my body and being kissed and held..
    Porn is not bad when used only by adults if you start letting kids watch it then you run into BAD problems.
    In my personal relationship I see no wrong in it for my Fiance to watch it a little bit but he does not need it when I am HOME because he has me
    if it is used daily (w/ spouse not involved)it desensitizes you and creates unrealistically expectations of the other gender
    if it is something that you and your spouse watch together it could be something that enhances your relationship
    When used together by the couple it can enhance the intimate relationship!
    When used by one person and it is despised by the other then it will ruin the intimate relationship!
    It could improve the user of pornographic materials own personal sex life or he/she (the user) could become so dependent on it, that he/she couldn't function sexually with another human being.
    This may not be a popular answer but sex is a beautiful gift. Why make it ugly with porn. If a man looks at porn it makes his partner feel like she isn't enough. I think it can only harm a relationship.
    It doesn't affect ours in the least.
    But it sure heats up our sex life occasionally.
    Are you saying that you get turned on by watching base ball ?
    Whilst many people don't think pornography can affect relationships in their life and is not seen as an issue, or does not affect them, the truth is it can affect relationships. The addiction to pornography for one thing can arise in male and female, and across all age groups, the reason why is because of how easy it is for people to access the material and it can be done in the privacy of your own home.
    Because you are writing a research paper, you can put the positives that other people have written as well as the negatives.
    A good book to read is the Gift of Sex : A Guide to Sexual Fulfillment by Clifford and Joyce Penner. In their book they have a chapter that talks about pornography. It is written by Christian Pastors, but they are also internationally recognised sexual therapists, with Joyce being a nurse and Clifford a clinical psychologist, so I believe the content is valid, it is just merely coming from a Christian point of view, but I believe it can help.
    Firstly, the chapter talks about the changes in society to how people had to view pornography, that being you had to walk to a sleazy part of town and then be seen by others going into the venue, now its on the internet, cable television, its easy to access, does not screen for age and so on.
    It then defines what is a pornography addict is, that is when people masturbate to the content, feels the need to want to search for new websites, affects your sleeping patterns, makes excuses to do something else when all you want to do is watch pornography, lose track of time, lie to the people they love about what they are doing, clearing the internet history so not to be caught.
    How does it affect relationships? Well for children who view the content, they can grow up with an unrealistic view about what sex is about, as they go on to being an adult, what they view is seen as what they can try to get in real life. For boys in particular their first experience is what is ingrained in their mind, and as they grow, enter marriage and so on, they always want to revisit what bought real excitement to them, and if it doesn't happen, it can be negative for them and look for outlets elsewhere, or lose interest in being intimate with their life partner.
    It can affect marriages, some things that I have read about and watched were of men having sex with his partner, but only way to get excitement was to have a pornography magazine next to him.
    Because you are doing a research paper, you need to realise that you must be careful with how you use personal opinions of people over the internet because the whole purpose of it is that you have made your opinion shown by what you have found in the research, followed by your opinion and ways on how to beat the addiction which I will give you now.
    First, a person needs to admit his addiction to someone, thats the greatest step, second, change your life patterns, such as being accountable to someone to check your history, putting your computer to a public easy to get caught in the act area, get filters, give the passwords to your spouse, go to bed the same time as your spouse, stop masturbating to the internet. Focus on you, which means take control of your life. Focus on your relationships, if you didn't have a hobby before, then make this an excuse to find one and replace the pornography with positive real friendships, I have also said to people that this can encourage the meeting of a potential future spouse. And lastly, be accountable for your decisions, make the right choices.
    I apologise this is long, but I hope it helps.
    How do I determine the subset relationships in this math problem?
    Suppose C is a subset of D and D is a subset of C.
    A) If n(C) = 5, find n(D)
    B) What other relationship exists between sets C and D?
    How do I figure this out?How do I determine the subset relationships in this math problem?
    I don't know the exact wording in your class, but
    ';C is a subset of D'; means that all members of the set C are members of the set D (there may be other members of D).
    and
    ';D is a subset of C'; means that all members of the set D are members of the set C (there may be other members of C).
    So, since ';C is a subset of D'; AND ';D is a subset of C';,
    is either C or D bigger than the other? Why?
    it's not that they admit to it more, they just get put in the spotlight for it more. it's not so bad if your average joe has an affair, but god forbid it's mark sanford.
    on a side note: just becasue edwards and sanford are cheaters and from south carolina doesn't mean everyone here cheats.lol
    How complicated and tough are relationships these days?
    Of course I'm very negative when it comes to women and relationships, from what I've seen on television and what I've seen in reality.
    How complicated and tough are relationships these days?How complicated and tough are relationships these days?
    sometimes it gets complicated and things get nasty that you dont know what happened until its too late. however, its better to take risks and to see how things are going or else you are going to regret it in the end. live is like taking chances and found out what life really is. if you are hurt in the end, just know that you are not alone because you have your friends to be there for you. remember, never give up.How complicated and tough are relationships these days?
    You can't compare real relationships with what you see on TV. That's probably why you think dating is so difficult. Dating is tough for everyone. Even when you're in a relationship it can be hard at times but really any good relationship should be easy, you just have to wait for the right one.
    as long as you find the right person that you can actually feel deep down inside that they are meant for you, then its not hard at all. cuz if things go bad or if somethin happens you will want to fix it cuz you feel so greatly for them. is seems hard on tv because people enjoy watching drama, so shows only show relationships that are complicated and not too good.
    Well you can't really compare life to a scripted television show.
    The first thing you should be sure of is knowing what you want out of a relationship but at the same time having an understanding that not everyone fits into the same shoe.
    Relationships are easy if you know who you are and what you want.
    The next step is finding someone compatible. That's the hard part.
    Good luck on your search and like the boy scouts...Be prepared. When you find that special someone, be sure you are the kind of person that she wants.
    they are extremelly tought. i think is because the lack of communication among relationships. also because of all you guys who just want to get in a women's pants. so yes relationships are very very hard these days.
    Well it really depends on the persons envolved. Because of my values and the person I want to be, my life is pretty darn complicated, I don't envy the woman that want to be part of it, but I surely do appreciate it :)
    it's only complicated if you chose someone that is compplicated or if you are complicated. Anyone can make it worth,it's up to the both of you to try.
    It all depends on what you want and finding the apprpriate girl. Many people get heartache because they try to drive a square peg in a round hole and wonder why it didn't work out.
    Television isn't real life....so stop going there.
    When 2 people are invested in the relationship it does work.
    It's only as complicated and tough as the 2 people involved make it.
    Its only complicated if one of the two people arent working at it. Otherwise your already losing a lost battle. ';/
    Only as complicated and tough as you make it.
    Just as hard and complicated as they were in those days. Things really haven't changed.
    They are not called relationSHITS.
    They're a cinch..........if you learn some good relationship skills.......try it!
    Why do none of my relationships work out?
    Well its called dating for a reason hun. you'll go through a lot of relationships until you find the one. Trust me you'll find someone that'll take care of you. And someone who will love u for who u areWhy do none of my relationships work out?
    Ohh my god I do agree. Guys are way too picky these days and have so many expectations. I think they see all these pretty girls on tv and in the media and thats what they think they can have all the time or something! They are full of it! I too have the same problem as you.I meet people and think its going well and then they back right out of it when I think things are cool. I guess just give it time and relax. Stay busy dont call them and do your own thing. Its hard when you are interested in someone to let them go but I guess that makes them want you more!
    Sounds like you are trying too hard. Make the guy chase you. Only call after he calls you first. Don't do everything for him, and make sure you leave room for him to breathe. (Times when you each do your own things %26amp; hobbies). Relax.
    Why do your relationships fail? What reasons are you given, If it's always them breaking things with you then what were their reasons?
    It could be any number of reason but it could just be because you haven't found the right person yet.
    Be more picky when choosing the guy.... Figure out what you are looking for and don't settle for anything less
    Guys have way too high of expectations these days there full of it. Sorry yal' but you know its true.
    How does effexor affect your relationships?
    Have your relationships been improved, diminshed because of effexor? I hear this is a great drug for depression but i am cautious.How does effexor affect your relationships?
    I have taken it before and I didn't have any problems while on it. I know some depression medications can lower your sex drive, but that didn't happen with me. But it doesn't mean it wouldn't happen to you. Our body chemistry's are all so different from each other. Drugs affect us all in different ways. With medication it's more of a trial and error thing. You have to keep trying until you find one that works for you.
    Good luck and God bless.How does effexor affect your relationships?
    It's been a wonder drug for me for the past three years. I went through a catalogue of several different anti depressants and was beginning to feel nothing was ever going to help.
    I can't say categorically that the depression is gone, but I can say that it takes the edge off those awful thoughts and feelings and so allows me to have some breathing space to cope and to work on the actual reasons behind the depression.
    I feel I am nicer to be around than pre efexor, I feel less insular and much less preoccupied with the depressive feelings I was suffocated by.
    it might not be for you, depression is such a complex illness to treat that what works for one doesn't do a thing for the next person, but don't give up, and remember that they can take a little while to kick in and take effect. There will be something that treats your depression :)
    it can improve depressive symptoms but decrease your sex drive
    well it could improve mine if i could get back on the med, i can't afford it so i had to go off of it. for me it is the only thing that works right now and cost is keeping me from taking it. really sux for me and i am not eligible for any financial aid cuz they say i make too much, lol, i'm on ssdi, so go figure
    What is your pittfall in relationships as a female Asperger?
    Do you experience lack of understanding within your family, because they don't want to face up to possible traits they have themselves?What is your pittfall in relationships as a female Asperger?
    my family told me bluntly that they wouldn't accept my dx as the truth and that ';there was nothing wrong with me'; and that for 17 years, I was just fine.
    My biggest problem as a female aspie is that my family revels in emotional displays, making it impossible for me to understand what they want me to do or understand. I've tried to explain that logic-based arguments are much more effective when speaking to me rather than a noisy outburst which only upsets me, but as typical neurotypicals, the only way they can see as correct is THEIR way.What is your pittfall in relationships as a female Asperger?
    Well, Asperger is a tricky diagnosis. If one truly thinks about it it is a little funny. Lack of social understanding combined with a litereral sense of life is always going to turn up mis-understandings and hurt feelings. It is always best to tell the truth (as usual) and hope for the best. Oh, and most people find most aspects Aspergers fascinating... when explained correctly.
    What should i do when my girlfriend suddenly decides to break off from relationships?
    This girl i've been with for more than a year suddenly decides to concentrate on her studies and wants to stop all matters related to a BGR.She starts to reply my texts very slowly and I asked her if it was because of another guy.She thinks i dont trust her and now she's ignoring me.I've tried apologising but she doesnt seem to want to forgive me.What do i do?What should i do when my girlfriend suddenly decides to break off from relationships?
    The worst thing for you to do is to keep tracking her down. I know it might be hard after first but it's probably best to become involved in as many active activities as possible to get your many focus off of her. Sometimes in relationships, the other person just needs their space and uses any dumb reason to get away.
    Trust me its best if you just text her to say hey every now and again to see hows shes doing. Don't come off as if your trying to get back with her. Just show her that you still care about her and you just want to see how shes doing. Sort of like a check up.
    By constantly texting or calling your not making things any better. Your really just pushing her away more. Through time she will see how much of a nice guy you are, how much you care, whats shes missing out in and how much she misses you.
    Remember every now and again is the best opinion. And keep it short and simple unless shes running on in the conversation. For now strictly texting, then as thing progress, let it turn into phone calls which will then turn into frequent visits.What should i do when my girlfriend suddenly decides to break off from relationships?
    I was with the same woman for 11 years. Last year, around this time, weird **** started to go down. Not answering phone calls, not replying to texts, etc... I kept hearing the same old crap about how I bad I treated her. I didnt treat her bad. But I couldn't figure out what it was that I was doing. To make a long story short, that ***** had been hooking up with some other dude. If you know in your heart and in your mind that you aint doing nothing wrong, DONT apologize! I wouldn't doubt that there is a new dude. I hope not. That has got to be some of the most painfull mesery that a woman can put a man through. If you think that she is cheating on you, she probably is.
    When you start dating someone new do you always ask about their prior relationships?
    Like how long? And, why did you break up?When you start dating someone new do you always ask about their prior relationships?
    Yes. That's incredibly important. I had a friend who broke up with a guy for looking at porn and then my other friend started dating him. I tried to tell her to ask him about it and she wouldn't. Believe me I always inquire.
    Well, I'm sorry to say they don't work out very well especially if you have committed yourselves to each other. Tex ting is very hard to do because the tone of the conversation doesn't always work plus its expensive, phoning is ok as long as you can afford calling cards or the phone bills, writing is good however it might take some time to receive a letter depending on how far away your sweetie lives.     No, they don't all have low self-esteems or self-hatred. They're not any better or worse than American women. They're just different. Yes, it's true that many don't appreciate their own culture and younger Asians tend to mimic what they see in western media.
    ...and one more thing. In most Asian cultures, women budget the household funds, not men. If you try to do it the other way around, they're usually quite upset and confused about it.
    So, if you're an American man and you're thinking of marrying an Asian woman, you better take those things into consideration and a lot more. If she's not good at budgeting money or she just graduated high school, you better give it some extra consideration.
    Little man must really be a little man. lol. I also think white men want a less outspoken partner and may find that in an Asian woman. I also think it is just their ';type';. They are attracted physically by an Asian woman and the women are attracted to white men. There's nothing wrong with that, you like who you like.
    But seriously folks: Asians, men and women assimilate to a great extent, especially as income rises. Asian women are educated to be supportive, not necessarily subordinate, however. They rule the part of the relationship they have control over. But they also motivate their mates to perform and get on. And from personal experience, they have the prettiest children, but that's just a stereotype, probably. :-)
    Well, I think that's probably the road I should have gone down in the first place. I'm a white male, matter of fact, I'm in a new minority - I'm a WASP. (White anglo-saxon protestant), and I do like Asian women, %26amp; even hope to date one when the time is right. I like their attitude, %26amp; most seem to be very intelligent. I think that's attractive, They don't seem to talk too much, and seem to be content to play the submissive role in the relationship, %26amp; thats both smart AND attractive. (I'm just waiting for an available one that decides she wants me.)
    Many times men especially white men buy into the stereotype that asian women are much more subordinate than other women. I personally believe asians especially asian women have a serious self hatred worse than that of the entire black race. They dont think of themselves or their race as anything desireable, but they agree to the traditional European form of beauty. They really want to ';get along'; and be apart of the American dream and culture. I think that is something they need to work on by themselves.
    White men have small pee-pees and asian women can accomodate it...?
    eh, it's just a guess...and I'm soooo kidding, so i hope no one takes offense
