What do you think of relationships between white men and Asian women?

I was recently reading a study done in a magazine that said WHite males and Asian females the largest interracial pair but also the must successful. The magazine took in to acount divorce rates, longevity, and surveys. Why do you think white men and Asian women make such a successful couple? Generally speaking do they naturally work better then other couples? What do you think of relationships between white men and Asian women?
Statistically, most white males are attracted to asian woman. The reason its successful is because a lot of asian woman are very conservative when it comes to relationships. I am Asian dating a white guy and were happy. What do you think of relationships between white men and Asian women?
I think this is true, I also think that asian woman and men would prefer white men more a little too because they are sweet and kind. Not alot of asian men are like that.

Asian is such a wide term. Do you know how many different cultures there are in Asia? I'm an American living in the Philippines and I work with men and women from Korea, China, Japan, and even Thailand and India.

The personality and values are different just within the native ethnic groups of the Philippines. That's just within one country. No, Americans don't think Asian women are more subordinate. American women have a very aggressive personality compared to many Asian women.

American men think that living with Asian women would be less stressful, but it's a mistake to think that because women all have basically the same sensibilities around the world, they just approach it differently. There are also Asian women who are very aggressive, and most are very ambitious.

Japanese women tend to keep their opinions to themselves, but that doesn't mean that every Japanese women conforms to the thinking of her husband. It's just part of the culture not to make conflict in social settings.

Korean women are usually very interested in having a higher life style. Also, most don't want to marry a foreigner because of social pressures to keep their family line going. Eastern Asian women traditionally keep their family name.

Filipino follow the surname tradition of their former Spanish conquerors. So, that's not a problem, but most Filipina have an unrealistic expectation of other countries. Especially America!

In all fairness, most of the stereotypes pinned on Filipina who marry old American men are largely concentrated with one or two particular ethnic groups in the Philippines. However, Filipina aren't the model of mild house wife. Most are too ambitious to settle for that.

The Philippines is a very poor country, and day to day habits are different than in America. So, this too can be a source of conflict. Ideas about how familiar relationships also tend to cause strains.

There is a tendency for Filipina to be have a short temper, to be easily offended (and not get over it for a long time), and to express irritation through long periods of frigid behavior. Gossip and meddling is also an issue in the culture.

This is of course on a case to case basis, and each ethnic group (Cebuano, Ilonngo, Tagalog, Iloko, Chabacano, ect) has it's typical traits. This is true of other countries in Asia.

No, they don't all have low self-esteems or self-hatred. They're not any better or worse than American women. They're just different. Yes, it's true that many don't appreciate their own culture and younger Asians tend to mimic what they see in western media.

...and one more thing. In most Asian cultures, women budget the household funds, not men. If you try to do it the other way around, they're usually quite upset and confused about it.

So, if you're an American man and you're thinking of marrying an Asian woman, you better take those things into consideration and a lot more. If she's not good at budgeting money or she just graduated high school, you better give it some extra consideration.

Little man must really be a little man. lol. I also think white men want a less outspoken partner and may find that in an Asian woman. I also think it is just their ';type';. They are attracted physically by an Asian woman and the women are attracted to white men. There's nothing wrong with that, you like who you like.
But seriously folks: Asians, men and women assimilate to a great extent, especially as income rises. Asian women are educated to be supportive, not necessarily subordinate, however. They rule the part of the relationship they have control over. But they also motivate their mates to perform and get on. And from personal experience, they have the prettiest children, but that's just a stereotype, probably. :-)
Well, I think that's probably the road I should have gone down in the first place. I'm a white male, matter of fact, I'm in a new minority - I'm a WASP. (White anglo-saxon protestant), and I do like Asian women, %26amp; even hope to date one when the time is right. I like their attitude, %26amp; most seem to be very intelligent. I think that's attractive, They don't seem to talk too much, and seem to be content to play the submissive role in the relationship, %26amp; thats both smart AND attractive. (I'm just waiting for an available one that decides she wants me.)
Many times men especially white men buy into the stereotype that asian women are much more subordinate than other women. I personally believe asians especially asian women have a serious self hatred worse than that of the entire black race. They dont think of themselves or their race as anything desireable, but they agree to the traditional European form of beauty. They really want to ';get along'; and be apart of the American dream and culture. I think that is something they need to work on by themselves.
White men have small pee-pees and asian women can accomodate it...?

eh, it's just a guess...and I'm soooo kidding, so i hope no one takes offense
